its totally awsome that you guys are forcing. im 14 and its so much better not to force just set the example. im younger and im going to give parents some tips lol. when you are eating vegetables or raw food tell the kids how healthy they are and what they are good for. exaple, “mmm these almonds are going to make my hair thick and beautiful with the vitamin E!” lol thats what worked for me.

@antinoob83 Thats cool, remember I grew up eating lots of meat so I completely understand. Just try to go for the free range it you can. They dont have all the chemicals in them and are better cared for. Take care and thanks for watching

@RawFoodVeganSungazer i heard that its because milk has hormones that are very comforting “addicting” so that the baby wants to drink the milk, so i think thats why kids migth get addicted. you probably know this already though but idk:)

Great video topic! This has been the discussion in our house for months now. Most of my kids are grown but we have a 11yr old and she is struggling with knowing what is good for her to eat and wanting the junk that she is surrounded with at school. I feel like she’s stuck in the middle for now. This will soon pass as long as we continue to be Raw and model the healthy lifestyle.

I had my first ‘green’ smoothie because of you guys. It was sooo good! If it hadn’t have been green in color, I wouldn’t have known it was full of spinach!!! Thanks for all the tips..you guys are awesome!

That is so awesome, my kids are not raw yet, but they agreed to become vegetarian. I started using videos during family meeting on meat & dairy risks, we watched fast food nation, supersize me, and it was so awesome their school showed them a video, meet your Meat, and they said no more, and my son is a burger guy. So I’ve been making them vegetarian meals. My son said he will go raw w/me when schools out.

@hopesolofan18 Milk has an opiate like effect on the body. That’s why it’s addicting.

You guys are so adorable! Thank you so much for this video is great info. I was starting to wonder how would I deal with “healthy” eating when I have kids in the future =]

Awesome video!!
Our little one is transitioning right now from vegan to raw (she’s 3). It’s not easy when they see other kids eating “SAD” foods! I’ve learned that when I explain why it’s “bad” for her (that it can make her sick, or get “bobos”), and why it’s good for her (that it gives her energy, heals her “bobos”, and helps her grow; then she usually picks the raw choice!
Sneeky! But it works! Peace & Love

I totally agree in allowing children to make their own decisions, but there comes a time when a parent needs to take that leadership role and let them know that they will only have healthy choices because they don’t really know what is good for themselves and are looking to us adults to make healthy, positive decisions. As more than often, the children will follow the parents lead. Thanks for sharing how you give your children healthier alternatives.

Thanks for being real. It describes what I experience in my family as well.

I’m so encouraged by you guys!! Our kids are the same way ( ages 5 and 2 ).
they’ll help us make green smoothies but will not drink them lol
we use to get so frustrated and feelings would get hurt when we prepared a wonderful raw meal. We would even send them to bed with only a fruit in their stomachs because that’s all they would eat. I’m just happy to know that we aren’t the only ones trying to help our kids to live a healthy life. keep up the good work and the good fight!! thanks for sharing
